Scientific Standard Services Inc. (SSSI) was organized in 1996 as a private calibration company here in the Philippines.

We were issued a certificate of Registration No. 0536288 by the Department of Trade and Industry on May 27, 1996.

The company’s primary interest involves verification and calibration of equipment for individual and public / private corporation. Projects we take maybe single test, continuing test projects or long term contractual test programs.

We offer only the best which represent quality, efficiency and reliability of service for total satisfaction of our clients. We, at SSSI are committed to quality programs and the continuous improvement of these programs thru development and training of staff locally as well as internationally.

ARSEMAR L. POBLETE ECT,BsECE,MBA

General Manager, Scientific Standards Services

Arsemar L. Poblete is the General Manager of Scientific Standards Services, one of the first accredited private calibration laboratories in the Philippines. He holds a diploma in Electronics and Communication Technology, and a degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering. Soon after, he pursued graduate studies and earned his Master in Business Administration.

He takes advantage of professional development opportunities over the entirety of his career by attending both international and national seminars and training sessions on Physical Metrology, Electrical Calibration, Dimensional Metrology and ISO Standards. He is consistently invited as a guest speaker and keynote speaker by different organizations and institutions.

Mr. Poblete has been a member of various international organizations in Australia, Japan and Korea. He was a director of Philippine Metrology Society as well as the Philippine Metrology, Standards, Testing and Quality. Currently, he serves as the Chairman of the Laboratory Accreditation Technical Committee which determines the technical competence of different calibration laboratories based on the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025, and specific technical requirements relevant to the field of calibration. He was also a member of the Technical Committee of the Department of Health- Bureau of Health Devices and Technology. Moreover, a Technical Assessor for Calibration and Approved Signatory for Calibration of the Philippine Accreditation Bureau- an accreditation body under the Department of Trade and Industry .

Our Calibration Laboratory is located at SCIENTIFIC STANDARD SERVICES INC. BLDG. #9 M. SANTOS ST. TUKTUKAN TAGUIG CITY, PHILIPPINES (1637).

Measurement traceability and calibration

 The calibration equipment of the laboratory are traceable to the National International and/or calibration laboratories accredited to ISO/EIC 17025.

The equipment have the calibration certificates, which state all the data during calibration such as uncertainties, environmental condition and the date of calibration.
